Serial number in the 97xxx range. 1873 dated lock plate and breech block. Buffington sight and serrated trigger arsenal updated in the 1880’s when many of these were re-issued for cadet use to various Colleges around the country. Excellent overall with much original blue and the original stock finish with visible cartouche. Working order and excellent bore.
